Hi New... and would like to know what type of spider this is??

This spider was found in Redford MI.. my husband installs cable and it was hiding in an outside lock box.. if you know what the size of a cable line is that can help with how big the spider is.. as you can see the line on the bottom left.. he is about 3 to 4 times the size of a cable line.. I think.. I hope I attach this correctly..

    Welcome to the forum, yasaman.

Your picture did come through, but unfortunately, it's hard to tell much about this spider when it's in that position. Do you have any other photos of it?

Ditto to what Ungoliant said, but at that size, it's probably a "fishing spider" in the genus Dolomedes. Would still love to see any other angles you have of it to confirm, though...

A tough call then, but the "fishing spiders" are one of the only types that get that large in Michigan. Check out this one: http://www.spiders.us/species/dolomedes-tenebrosus/.
