    Identification Please

    Found on the electrical box by my RV on Dade Battlefield in Bushnell, FL on 5-1-2012 around noon. He was very small, you can see his size relative to the specs of dust surrounding him in one of the pics.

    Handsome! This is a member of the Salticids, or Jumping Spiders. They are intelligent, curious and feisty. Also not dangerously venomous and rare to bite. I think this may be a "Magnolia Jumping Spider".

    Sweet! Very nice pictures of the "Magnolia Green Jumper," Lyssomanes viridis! This is a spider of the southeast U.S. I just saw a couple a few days ago in South Carolina. Neat find!
