This one was great. I somehow caught sight of it about twenty feet away in some brush while I was sitting on a picnic bench. It seemed to spot me as well. Two minutes after seeing it the little one had jumped its way over to the edge of the shrubs and was sizing me, and my camera, up. This has to be the most inquisitive one I've found yet.

That frontal shot is so adorable! Jumping spiders are among the toughest to ID from images (especially since their appearance changes so drastically at each instar)... having only these images, my first two guesses would be genus Eris or genus Pelegrina. That could be way off, though.

    Thanks for sharing this cutie!

Thanks! I knew it would be all but impossible. Thanks for the tighter focus though. This little one was sooooo curious about me and my camera I had to laugh.
