Both of these are arachnids, but only one is a spider....
The image on the left is a solifuge (aka "camel spider," "wind scorpion," "sun spider," etc). It is a non-venomous arachnid that is mostly nocturnal. It simply runs down prey, overpowering it and chewing it to death with those plier-like jaws. Much myth, superstition, and urban legend surrounds solpugids, but don't believe any of it! They are harmless to people and pets (though large species can give a painful nip if handled).
The other spider appears to be a male tarantula, family Theraphosidae, genus Aphonopelma. Males wander in search of mates, especially in late summer and fall. Despite their size, they are not considered dangerously venomous to people or pets. Simply usher the spider back outside if it wanders indoors. They don't see well, and usually don't bother knocking before entering :-)

Also, please post only one spider/arachnid at a time next time. It is easier for us not to confuse you in our replies; it is also easier to archive posts when only one subject is involved. Thank you.

Thanks Eric for the information. Understanding a little about the little dudes makes us feel more certain. I apology if I had violated the rules, will keep that in mind next time. Thanks again

You're welcome! No worries, we haven't made "the rules" very explicit :-)
