    My baby is growing!!

Again from St. Louis MO. I thought I would share my D. tenebrosus pics from her shedding last night. My 2 year old is utterly fascinated by her and has to peer into her tank like 40 -50 times a day, so he pointed out that she had something wrong. Then watched her for the next half hour standing on a chair while she pulled herself out of the old skin and dried herself. I have to admit it was my first time watching the event so I was fairly fascinated too.

Did you manage to snap any photos while she was molting? That would be interesting to see.

The second pic shows her extracting the last of her legs from the old skin. Unfortunately she was in her hiding tube when she started. She swelled up for a couple days, then blam, off it came.
