Comments & ID Thoughts
I’m completely new to this site. I’ve seen these spiders all over my apartment ever since we moved in. It’s a basement apartment in Utah, USA. I need help figuring out what it might be. I tried apps and they said Wolf Spider but it seems too small. It’s probably about the size of a quarter including legs.

This is a harmless funnel weaver. The legs look too spiny to be Eratigena genus.
Could be Hololena genus. Their worst may be a messy web in the open.

I had a male live right here on my desk lamp, a mess but look at all the flies and gnats he caught.
