I think this is a common house spider based on other pictures on this website, but I didn't see this abdomen marking clearly on any other pictures.
It is in a west facing window with a large area of disorganized webbing.

I think you’re correct about it being a house spider, in genus Steatoda or Parasteatoda. The markings are giving you trouble because this is the underside ( ventral plane surface) of the spider and most of the reference photos are from the top ( dorsal plane). The most useful markings and features of a spider are on the dorsal surface. If you can get a photo of her top, I’ll be happy to ID her. We don’t have convenient photo submission linking. Thank you, I will keep trying, she seems to hang out upside down, and if I try to get a photo from below it disturbs her web….I’ll keep an eye out.
