Comments & ID Thoughts

Please tell me what this is. Upon Googling... the spider it closely resembles is a new deadly spider from Australia (funnel web spider), but I live in Pennsylvania. It walked right into my barn.

A purseweb spider. Possible bite can sting pretty good but not medically significant.

Hi.
I have coaxed a few of these onto my hand, so not like they are an aggressive spider.
(how I leared these) Never bitten but like most spiders, it is possible to provoke a bite.
An interesting spider, a Mygalamorphae like trap door spiders and tarantulas.
