TO SHOW THE BACKGROUND AREA OF THIS AMAZING HAWAIIAN GARDEN SPIDER, HAS BEEN WITH ME 7 DAYS.THERE APPEARED A SMALL SPIDER WITH HER.YESTERDAY THERE WAS A SMALL THREAD HANGING ABOUT 2 INCHES WITH A SACK OF THREE SMALL ROUND OBJECTS IN IT LOOKED LIKE APPLE PIPS.WERE THESE EGGS, OR HATCHLINGS I WONDER? TEMPERATURE 27 TODAY, THIS MORNING NOW 11:20

Thanks, that’s a huge web! Her eggs will look like yellow fuzz. Some species create distracting objects in their webs, sculpted from silk and debris and dead bugs. I don’t know if this species does this. She might have left-over food wrapped up to eat later. The silk works like plastic wrap, it helps keep prey fresh.
